Hello Hello! Sorry it's been so long. I have been really busy! I really haven't been doing much other than teaching and preparing to teach, so I haven't had much to post about. Last week I was feeling very frustrated with life, but the end of the week went so well and it was very encouraging. I have been having so much fun with my kids. I brought fall into the classroom, even if it is 90 degrees every day.

We read a book called Pumpkin Pumpkin this week, so I made pumpkin bars for all my kids to try. Most of them loved them. It's not something they have often here.

Look at these cute kids. I love jean day! They come in dressed better than me!

And look and these shoes! One of my other girls was making fun of them. I told her that they were the sweetest shoes I had ever scene!

My kids wanted to say thanks for the pumpkin, so we took a picture with it. Thanks for the pumpkin mom!

It was a great way to end a hard week. I got lots of "Your the best teacher Miss. Wilcox" I love it when they say that, even if it was probably because I brought them a treat and gave them an extra recess. Ha!

I did a lot of work this weekend on just improving things for my classroom. It was tiring, but I am hoping it will make life easier. I also went to a birthday dinner for all the October birthdays. Next week some friends and I are going to the beach for the night for my birthday. I am excited!

Last night my roommates and I got dressed up and went out to a nice dinner. We found a really beautiful restaurant. It was a nice change in atmosphere.

Well I am going to go relax a little before this next week starts. I have my first formal observation this week. I am feeling nervous about it, so keep me in your prayers. I hope your all doing well. Only 2 months till Christmas break! They are already decorating here and it makes me excited. Love you all!

I just got done sweeping up leaves in the driveway (UGH!!). Be glad you don't have any! We've had very warm weather here too lately....a record high of 84 yesterday. Not very "fall-ish" but it's nice. Love how you brought the season into your classroom. Have a happy birthday!!
